AdjunctX Team — June 23, 2025
Boston, MA – June 23, 2025 – AdjunctX, an emerging edtech venture transforming lifelong learning, has been selected for the prestigious Ain Family Start-Up Award at Brandeis University. This recognition celebrates student-led startups demonstrating high-impact potential and strong entrepreneurial vision.
“We are thrilled and honored to receive the Ain Family Start-Up Award,” said Jahir Islam, Co-Founder of AdjunctX. “This recognition strengthens our belief in the problem we’re solving, and we’re excited to keep building. Special recognition goes to Shamsi Mumtahina Momo, my Co-Founder, whose leadership and diligence played a critical role throughout the application and pitching process.”
Earlier this year, the AdjunctX team pitched at Brandeis Innovation’s SparkTank and the Tufts $100K New Venture Competition, organized by the Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts University (DEC). These experiences offered valuable mentorship and insights from experts including Mark Jennis, Professor Philippe Wells, Professor Tim Buntel, Professor Elaine Chen, Cody Damon, and Juan Giraldo.
“We’re incredibly grateful to professors and mentors who challenged our thinking and helped us refine our strategy,” said Momo.
With this award and momentum, AdjunctX is preparing for an exciting phase of growth and development in the coming months.
